The national park offers plenty of activities in the great outdoors all year. Experience a memorable trip!
Numerous trails in Repovesi (Kuutinkanava)
Repovesi offers a wide variety of hiking for both beginners and more experienced hikers. The national park has more than 40 kilometres of marked trails. There are suitable routes for both for day trips and multi-day hikes. This is a good place to start hiking and fall in love with being out in nature. Many of the trails run through the Kuutinkanava canal, where you can stop and admire the rock slide at Kuutinlahti Bay (shown here).
There are three entrances to the Repovesi National Park: Lapinsalmi, Saarijärvi and Tervajärvi. You can also arrive by water by paddling, rowing or boating - the park has numerous boat and paddlecraft docks. The Mäntyharju-Repovesi hiking trail brings hikers and mountain bikers north of Olhava to the border of the national park.
The Kaakkurinkierros circle trail is the longest route in the park. It connects with all entrances, reservable huts and many nature sites. The trail also offers things to see and do for more experienced hikers. If one day isn't enough, you can also stay overnight in the park.
Shorter day routes include the Ketunlenkki trail, Korpinkierros circle trail and Koppelonkierros circle trail. You can also create your own route from the wide range of trails.
